Dr. Ming WuDr. Wu joined Errol Street Medical Centre in 2014. Prior to joining us, he has been a doctor in China for more than 20 years. Dr. Wu also had been practicing medicine at Bendigo for ten years before moving in Melbourne. He is very fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese. | |
Manson Ignace - 1Psych Manson is a Clinical & Organizational Psychologist with over twenty-five year’s experience providing, psychoeducation, counselling, critical incidentresponse, psychological first aid and evidence-based mental health interventions for individuals, couples, groups, teams and organisations in the public and private sectors including defence and emergency service personnel. Manson specialises in treating adults and teenagers experiencing intense distress from anxiety, depression, stress, grief or trauma. He also provides couples therapy for adults. Manson is certified in Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR), Clinical Hypnosis, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness (MiCBT) therapies. Since 2005, Lieutenant Commander Ignace has completed six operational deployments to the Middle East and the Ivory Coast with the RANR as a Navy Psychologist on ANZAC class frigates providing mental health screening and counselling to Australian Defence Force members.Manson welcomes current and past defence and emergency service personnel. We are a Private Billing Clinic, however bulk billing is available for concession / health care / pensioners card holders issued by Centrelink. At Errol Street Medical Centre, we strive to provide optimal care to our patients and the health of patients is our first priority. Circumstances regarding COVID 19 are rapidly changing. We, at Errol Street Medical Centre, are updated daily by Federal and State health officials in relation to the pandemic and have processes in place to ensure your health needs are met in a safe and secure environment in our clinic. Errol Street Medical Centre remains open for all the provisions of all of our health services. Importantly, we are able to offer you consultations via Telehealth (via telephone) meaning that you can attend to many of your health needs from you home. As per Medicare eligibility, our practice can offer telehealth for current patients that has seen the doctor face to face in the 12 months. Telehealth or Phone Consults are privately billed, meaning Private Fee applies. It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorized members of staff. AFTER HOURS CALLS This medical centre uses 13 SICK After Hours Doctor Service. They can be contacted on 13 74 25 for afterhours attendance. Home visits are available through 13 SICK every night, weekends and public holidays. USE OF ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS Errol Street Medical Centre does not routinely use e-mails as a form of communication. Kindly call 03 9329 7011 for further information. TELEPHONE CALLS AND TEST RESULTS If you wish to speak to your doctor, usually they will need to return your call. If your call is urgent, please explain the reason in case we need to interrupt a consultation. As per our procedure, NO test results will be given out by our staff via the telephone. Please make a follow up appointment to obtain results from your doctor. PATIENT FEEDBACK If there is any aspect of the service you receive that you are unhappy about, then please discuss it with our Practice Principal / Practice Manager. Also please feel free to talk to your doctor or receptionist, or put it in writing if necessary. We are happy to receive constructive criticism.
