Do I have to make an appointment? | Yes, patients do need to make an appointment by calling or online. Please do check your confirmation date and time to make sure you are booked on the right date. You also need to have an appointment to see Dr Frank Xia but Dr Frank does take walk ins between 9am-11am and 2pm-4pm but appointments do have priority. All other doctors will only take a walk in if urgent. E.G. allergies, rash, chest pains or if patient doesn't have any medications left for the day. All patients are welcomed to call their doctor, all emergencies are put through ASAP, in other cases, a message will be taken and the doctor will return the call when they can. |
Do I need a long appointment? | Yes, you do for any consultations that are over 20 minutes. Ask our reception if longer consultations are needed |
How are test results managed? | We do have a reminder service system Our practice is committed to preventive care. Our doctors may include you in our reminder system. Please inform us if you wish to be included. If your doctor has ordered a test for you it is important that you make an appointment as soon as you have had your test so that your results can be discussed and given to you. Our clinic will contact patients for all results that are urgent via phone and you will be seen immediately. |
How do I get a medical, clearance, attendance certificate? | You do need to schedule an appointment appointment in order to get any of these certificates |
How do we manage confidentiality and privacy? | Your medical Record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorized member of staff. Written consent of the patient is required for any information to be released from this clinic. All patient information is confidential. Please enquire with doctor if you need to access your file. |
How is my file transferred from my old practice/ doctors to this practice? | You would need to request a file transfer form from our reception, fill it out and then that form will get sent to your doctor as a consent to transfer your file over to us. Please contact our reception for more details. |
Do I need to have an appointment to do a blood test? | No. We have a number system in place, so you just take a number and you press the buzzer. |
Can I see a doctor for work related injury and do I need an appointment? | Yes. Dr Frank Xia and Dr Tah Wei Hau do see patients with work related injuries. Please ask reception for more details |
Do I need an appointment to have a specialist consultation? | Yes. You must have an appointment to see a specialist Dr Joe Hu |
How can complaints be made? | We do have a complaint form at reception that would need to be fille out. Please ask our reception. |
