Face masks are mandatory for everyone aged over 8 years old in the following settings:
While visiting a hospital, care facility or any indoor space that is publicly accessible area in a health care setting, including allied health.

Circumstances regarding COVID 19 are rapidly changing. We, at Plaza Medical Centre, are updated daily by Federal and State health officials in relation to the pandemic and have processes in place to ensure your health needs are met in a safe and secure environment in our clinic.
PLAZA MEDICAL CENTRE, KEILOR DOWNS remains open for all the provisions of all of our health services.
Importantly, we are able to offer you consultations via TELEHEALTH (via telephone or video) meaning that you can attend to many of your health needs from you home. In most cases, these consultations can be bulk billed (Medicare conditions apply). For prescriptions, referrals, letters and other documents, these can be emailed to you and prescriptions can be also directed to your nearest pharmacy.

- Afterhours Visiting Doctor -
This medical centre uses 13 SICK After Hours Doctor Service. They can be contacted on 13 74 25 for afterhours attendance. Home visits are available through 13 SICK every night, weekends and public holidays.
-Home Visits-
Some doctors of the clinic offer home visits, which are for patients who are too ill or lack mobility to attend the medical centre physically.

- Billing -
Bulk billed for all current medicare card holders
Non medicare patients are required to pay cash on the day
Additional fees will apply if a procedure or dressing is required, as it is no longer covered under Medicare.
- Pre-Employment Medicals -
Appointments available with Dr William Wong. As it is not covered by Medicare, an out of pocket fee is required prior to appointments. Please call clinic to enquire and book appointments.
- Communication Policy -
All patients are welcomed to call the doctor, staff will take your details and try their best to help you and will only interrupt a consultation if the concern is urgent. We do not use any form of electronic communications at the moment. To contact the clinic please call, fax or send us regular mail.
- Results -
All patients are encouraged to make an appointment to discuss their results with a doctor of their choice.
No results are discussed over the phone.
- Management of Patient health Information -
All patients medical records are confidential.
Please enquire with the doctor if you need to access your file.
It is the policy of the clinic to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised staff members. Written consent of the patient is required for any information to be released from this clinic.
